Chris is the president and co-founder of BtB. He also serves as one of the agency's senior writers for advertising and PR accounts. Prior to starting BtB, Chris served eight years with General Electric. He was marketing communications specialist for GE's power transistor, varistor and optoelectronic product lines based in Syracuse, N.Y. He was later promoted to program manager of the Power Electronics Group, where he was responsible for the communications that repositioned GE's Power MOSFET line. After the 1989 acquisition of the GE/RCA semiconductor business by Harris Corporation, Chris left the company to co-found BtB.

Chris has a bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Geoff is a creative marketer who develops and implements integrated marketing campaigns, product launches and branding programs for technology-based B2B companies. He is as comfortable with a sketchpad and a pair of jeans as he is delivering a presentation in a suit. Geoff likes to get involved with hands-on creative and writing for key clients. His credo is that design is not art-but communication. Therefore, to create design that communicates we must first determine the messaging through a dedicated process involving interviews and research. With this knowledge we can develop a strategic campaign that will generate action and meet marketing goals.

Geoff has been married to the love of his life for 25 years and together they are the parents of three children. He is a serial volunteer at school and likes yoga, swimming, bicycling, live music and ales, stouts and porters-hence the cycling and swimming.

George manages BtB's technology clients. He has a strong technical background combined with a complete understanding of global industrial marketing and distribution channels. With 34 years experience in sales and marketing management, George has served eight years in the electronic/electrical components industry with Eaton Corporation and 10 years as vice president of marketing and sales with Airtech International.

George holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Distribution from Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y., and a master's degree in Administrative Science from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.

Josh is a multifaceted creative thinker that supports BtB's creative team in everything from conceptualization to production in projects ranging from print ads to tradeshow booths to web design and development. He enjoys the game of strategy that comes with each project just as much as the challenge of communicating each client's specific message through functional and creative design.

Josh is a doting father to two children and enjoys playing and writing music, rooting against Carolina basketball and being active outdoors.

Maria supports BtB's Accounting department, seamlessly maneuvering the dollars and cents accounting maze, a task that most would shy away from. Maria ensures vendors, clients and the rest of BtB have everything they need-and with her meticulous attention to detail, Maria is the perfect fit for a job where accuracy is key. Maria received her degree in finance from Baruch College in New York City.

When she's not shuttling her children to soccer games or gymnastics classes, Maria loves to kick back and read a good book.

Rose handles the day-to-day internal accounting operations for BtB. She is responsible for accounts receivable and payable, cost tracking and client invoicing. Rose has a degree in Accounting and comes to BtB with a strong background in accounting and human resource issues, agency, manufacturing and clinical research environments.

As Production Supervisor, Louise keeps all the projects in the agency moving through the production process, including scheduling graphic artists and web designers, outside vendors and other agency resources to keep clients' programs running smoothly. Organized, detail-oriented and relentless in her ability to ensure deadlines are met, Louise is one of the agency's best proof-readers.

When not at the office, Louise designs and sells custom beaded jewelry and cleans up after her college-student son, as well as the world's oldest living (and fattest) long-haired Dachshund.

As a Senior Public Relations Executive, Garth develops and implements public relations programs that increase media visibility and lead generation for clients. He has more than eight years of agency experience, and has worked with start-ups, Fortune 500 companies and everything in-between. He believes in nothing more than the AP Style.

Cris serves as BtB's Business Development Director. Equipped with 20 years of corporate marketing experience, Cris has planned and led comprehensive global marketing campaigns across numerous industries including consumer products, chemicals, medical devices, biologics, and conference development and planning. Cris successfully guided marketing teams toward peak performance, steering them through the execution of marketing and advertising programs, and the creation of marketing tools. To her breadth of experience, Cris can claim an MBA in Marketing from Binghamton University, a husband, three children and four recycled dogs.

As an Account Executive, Melissa manages projects for BtB's more "techie clients" including web strategy and SEO, ad developments, event management, special apps and anything else that's thrown at her. She graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a B.S. in Management & Marketing and earned her MBA from Campbell University.

Outside the office, Melissa is a busy mom who enjoys spending time with her son, Matthew and husband, Scott, and helping with any school activity that doesn't involve cooking. Her favorite books are the Thomas the Train series, and her favorite website is Google because little boys ask lots of questions.

As a Public Relations Specialist, Meagan's main focus is to aid BtB Executives in day-to-day activities for various clients' PR efforts. A major social media junkie, she satisfies her need to interact virtually by creating content on all major social platforms for multiple industry conferences. She strives to bring creativity to sterile environments by way of her work and her personal agenda to make others smile.

Outside of BtB, Meagan enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach and serves as a passionate advocate/volunteer for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and their battle against blood cancers.

As a Public Relations Executive, Christine communicates and collaborates with clients and editors; develops and executes strategies to increase client visibility; writes and edits a broad range of marketing materials, including: press releases, abstracts, articles, e-newsletters, website copy, and editorial pitches; provides full-service trade show support; manages the development, review, and submission of client-created content; and creates a number of aesthetically pleasing, well organized, and highly detailed reports that illustrate both the agency's efforts on clients' behalf and their effects.

Christine has earned both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in English from N.C. State University and, when not at work, can typically be found practicing yoga, cooking for or dining out with friends and family, working on one of her many ongoing art projects, reading, enjoying live music at one of several local venues, or basking in the sandy, salty, and sunshiny glory of North Carolina's quieter beaches.

As an Account Coordinator, Laura works with the Account Executives and Creative department to brainstorm new campaigns, oversee program and project circulation, meet with clientele, dabble in copywriting and proofreading. She enjoys having the ability to multi-task, exercise a wide-ranging skill palette and thrive in a creative, fast-paced environment.

Laura received her B.A. in Communication-Media from North Carolina State University. A kitty momma, wannabe fashionista, social media extraordinaire and nerd, when she's not in the office Laura can be found meditating on her yoga mat, sipping a glass of merlot, listening to her 40,000-song iTunes library or seeing as much of the world as she possibly can.
